What You Do*

The first step is to book an appointment. You can do this simply to ask questions, have a look at our cloth and lining selections, or chat about ideas for your look.

At this appointment, you’ll tell us the look you are wishing to achieve or the event for which you’re dressing, then enjoy your time with our Tailoring Stylist as they guide you to the finished garment. We will shepherd you through the process of cloth and style selection, design, first and second fittings (also known as bastings) to fine tune and ensure you are happy with the finished garments, leading to the day you take home your new addition to your wardrobe, a unique work of art that you helped create and can wear with pride.

What We Do

Step 1: The Measurement & Styling Consultation
We listen to what your needs are, how you want to feel and the look you are after.  If it’s a special occasion, we’ll talk through what personal
touches you would like. Dependant on the type of order, we will then take up to 40 measurements, with figuration notes.

Step 2: The Design
We review the cloths, linings and different available styles and looks that will match with what you have in mind as well as answer any
questions you might have on some decisions you have yet to make. If it’s a bespoke order, we can design any element of your suit or garment
to exactly how you wish. Whatever you have in your mind, we can create your unique style.

Step 3: The Construction
The Cloth
We will work together reviewing our hand-selected house bunches from the best Yorkshire Mills & Merchants. For that extra level of luxury
we can showcase the Italian cloths from their finest mills. This continues with the linings, where the same array of choices are available to
select from, ensuring that whether you’re going for a classic solid or a unique print, you will find one that suits you. If you are embarking on a
bespoke order, we can search beyond our house bunch books and, if required, create any cloth and lining that you wish to suit you.

The Details
As important as the cloth & lining that you select, are the styling details, such as lapel shape and size, vent, pocket styles, and cuff styles,
number of buttons and embroidery options. For all our bespoke orders, you are able to create all of these styles you have in mind to your
exacting requirements.

Step 4: The First Basted Fitting
After 3-4 weeks from the Measurement & Styling Consultation, we will arrange for a convenient time for yourself to pop in, to try on your suit or
garment. This will ensure your selection is what you had in mind, and it will allow us to update any measurements to ensure
the fit and look are correct to your wishes. If you have chosen a bespoke suit or garment, we can alter any previous design choices, even the
cloth and lining if you wish.

Bespoke Orders Only - Step 5: The Second (Forward) Basted Fitting
Within 2-3 weeks post your first basting, we will ask for you to return so we can perform any final updates or corrections to the fit and feel of
your suit or garment.

Final Step: The Final Fitting and Collection
Your finished suit is ready for collection. It’s time for it to be taken away to find its new home as a staple in your wardrobe.
