The Great Gatsby London

The Carl Stuart Tailors have hit a sweet spot. They have recently teamed up with the remarkable costume team for the The Great Gatsby London and in doing so have created some of the most decadent, intricate, and extravagant garments you could imagine.

Working with fabrics and buttons that sparkle and shine was "good fun, old sport" but also presented a few interesting challenges for a team of tailors that typically work with light-weight wools and heavy-weight tweeds. The challenge was accepted and met, though, as you can see on the West End stage starting in April 2025.

Glitz and glitter aside, constructing these pieces was an incredible way for our team of tailors to kick off the year.
